Exchange/Return Policy

  1. Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy and Repairs
  2. All prescription frames and sunglasses are warranted for 1 Year from the date of purchase against any manufacturer’s defects. Manufacturer’s defects include: structural design, hinges, welding points, and colorings. Manufacturer’s defects DO NOT include: flagrant misuse causing frame damage, scratching or tarnish; pet damage; destruction or damage by vehicle; stepping on or sitting on the frame; bending or twisting the frame; or any other damage not considered a manufacturing flaw. Frames which are considered defective will be replaced with a new pair, so long as the frame is still being manufactured. In cases where the frame is listed as discontinued (no longer manufactured), the frame will be replaced with another color or a different model of equal or lesser value. Certain manufacturers process repairs and warranty defects directly. Dealing directly with the manufacturer can be convenient and save you time and money. We will inform you should you require dealing directly with the manufacturer. Please be advised that all shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. This includes any taxes and duties incurred with international shipments.

    To determine if your frame falls within the guidelines for manufacturer’s defect, please contact the Return Department at (800) 500-3939 or (619) 500 3939 and complete the return questionnaire prior to returning your eyewear.

  4. Our Guarantee: Customer service is our top priority. NewEyeglasses.com wants every transaction to be a positive experience. We guarantee 100% accuracy on all prescriptions or they will be remade at no charge, and we guarantee your eyewear to be free of any defect upon arrival. Should you   receive defective eyewear we will replace it at no charge.

    1. Exchange Policy Eyewear
      1. We offer a one-time exchange on any eyeglass frame or sunglass without prescription within 30 days of the original purchase ship date. Additional shipping costs apply.
      2. If your original frame or sunglass frame order included prescription lenses you will receive a 50% credit of the original lens cost         towards  the cost of the new lenses. Exchange must be made within 30 days from original purchase ship date. Additional shipping        costs apply.
      3. If your original frame or sunglass frame order included a single vision lens, New Eyeglasses.com will remake your single vision lens for a flat handling fee of $25.00. Additional shipping costs apply.
      4. Prior to exchanging any eyewear, you must complete the return questionnaire.Upon receipt you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by email. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the package and/or on the return shipping   label or it will not be accepted.
      5. Exchanges must be sent prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a trackable carrier such as UPS, Federal Express or the     United States Post Office.
      6. International Customers (Non USA). If you need to exchange an item please be sure to declare the item as Returned Item Without Value" or we must charge you for any duties incurred by US Customs. Please follow Return Merchandise Authorization procedure as defined above.

    2. Return Policy Eyewear
      1. NewEyeglasses.com will accept any purchase for refund based on the following criteria:
        1. NewEyeglasses.com will provide a refund on any return within 30 days of the original purchase ship date as follows:prescription Sunglasses and frames will receive a refund in the amount of 80% of the original purchase price.
        2. Lens only returns will receive a 50% refund of the original lens cost.
      2. Prior to returning any eyewear, you must complete the return questionnaire. Upon receipt you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by email. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the package and/or on the return shipping label or it will not be accepted.
      3. Returns must be sent prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a trackable carrier such as UPS, Federal Express or the United States Post Office.
      4. All returns must be received in the original condition and must include all items originally shipped including, eyeglass case, unused warranty cards, and any instruction booklets.
      5. Upon receipt of return, NewEyeglasses.com will inspect the returned item or items and will refund the amounts as indicated in  its return policy. If you have paid by credit card, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for your credit card company to post the credit to your account.
      6. International Customers (Non USA). If you need to return an item please be sure to declare the item as "Returned Item Without Value"  or we must charge you for any duties incurred by US Customs. Please follow Return Merchandise Authorization  procedure as defined above.

    3. Contact Lens Return Policy
      1. NewEyeglasses.com will accept contact lens returns within 30 days of the shipping date from your original purchase. Only unopened  and unmarked contact lens vials or boxes may be returned or exchanged. A $15 fee will apply to all unopened   contact lens vials or    boxes returned for credit. Exchanges are permitted at no additional charge. Additional shipping costs  apply to exchanges
      2. Prior to returning any contact lenses, you must complete the return questionnaire. Upon receipt you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by email. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the package and/or  on the return shipping label or it will not be accepted.
      3. Returns must be sent prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a trackable carrier such as UPS, Federal Express or the United States Post Office.
      4. Contact lenses must be returned in the original condition, unmarked and unopened and with all items originally shipped.
